From Colorado farms to LPS cafeterias!
Students across Littleton Public Schools are enjoying more Colorado-grown and locally produced foods in their school meals, thanks to the work of LPS Nutrition Services and grant funding from the Colorado Department of Education.
Local apples, peaches, rainbow carrots, potatoes, peppers, beef, honey, tortillas, spices and more are making their way into LPS kitchens and into recipes students already know and enjoy.

Euclid's Environmental Science class is joining forces with the Garden Club to help complete this semester's Denver Zoo Challenge! They are looking for ways to help wildlife by reducing waste. The class chose composting as their class project. Check out the compost our engineering team built, along with a toadhouse and seed starts from our wildlife research teams. In addition, we were happy to host a local Master Gardener to talk about composting and seasonal plants for Euclid's new garden, coming this spring.

Huge congratulations to the 12 LPS middle schoolers who just hit a high note at the Colorado All-State Choir! After beating out tough competition and logging months of rehearsals, these talented vocalists joined 550 of the state’s best at the Bellco Theater.

At the conference, Mr. Biddulph was recognized for having served 22 years as an adviser in TSA. He is one of two advisors who has more than 20 years with TSA.

A Dyslexia Simulation and Family Resource Night

This engaging and educational evening will center around a powerful dyslexia simulation, giving participants a firsthand look at the challenges faced by individuals with dyslexia. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore a variety of helpful resources and supports:

This event was made possible by the LPS Foundation Grants to Educators and is open to all LPS families and staff and is especially beneficial for those wanting to better understand dyslexia and how to support those with reading challenges.
We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful evening of learning and connection! Your RSVP for Inside the Reading Experience is appreciated to help us plan the event, but it is not required.
Once a month we host a Staff Meeting where our teachers come together to learn and grow. Thank you to our ELD Team for planning thoughtful PD this last week that aligns to our yearlong vision of quality Tier 1 instruction for all with opportunities for differentiation when needed.
