LPS employs over 900 part- and full-time classified employees, which represents around half of our workforce. These dedicated professionals work in our offices, provide aid in our health clinics, drive our buses, serve our meals, staff our childcare programs, and support the overall learning and development of each of our students.

Whether it's our operations staff clearing inches of snow in the winter, our custodial team working diligently to maintain our learning environments, or the vigilant security professionals ensuring our safety, each plays a vital role in keeping our district safe, clean, and operational. We are so grateful for each and every one of them, and we thank them for their service to LPS’s students, families, and community.

Please join us in thanking our classified employees this week!

A group of diverse middle school students from Euclid Middle School posing indoors at a Latinos in Action conference. Most students wear semi-formal attire with red lanyards and ID badges. A red sign reading "Euclid Middle School" is held at the front. Behind the group is a branded backdrop with a repeated red and white logo featuring silhouetted figures. The setting is a modern conference room with neutral walls, carpeting, and a clock on the wall.
The Euclid Middle School choir recently performed Magical Flower Tree—a brand-new commissioned song based on a story by a young author named Aubri. Working with composer Leah Tracy and the nonprofit Sing Me A Story, students brought Aubri’s heartfelt story to life on stage. Meeting Aubri in person made the performance even more emotional and unforgettable. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity—and a highlight of the year for our talented students!
